Who we are
Meet Sam Dvorak
Our director and Builder Sam D’Vorak grew up in the South-West of WA and made his move down to Cowaramup after graduating high school. Since then he completed his apprenticeship and was on his way to becoming what he has always wanted to be, a builder. Now with 14 years of experience in the building industry, he has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects and environments. He spent four years on the East Coast, focusing on high-end custom homes, where he developed a strong appreciation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and constructing homes designed to last.
After returning to Western Australia, Sam continued his work locally and grew increasingly interested in high-performance construction and Passive House principles. His growing knowledge led him to realise that a home can be much more than just an aesthetically pleasing structure; it can be healthier, more comfortable, energy-efficient, and perform better for the residents living in it.
Building his own family home provided him the opportunity to apply these principles. He used Passive House methodologies in the construction process, achieving an exceptional level of airtightness. More significantly, this experience reinforced his passion for creating homes that genuinely enhance the way people live, resulting in spaces that are healthier, more comfortable, and designed to perform for years to come.
He is dedicated to building homes that not only look remarkable but also offer a great living experience. His focus is on creating residences that provide year-round comfort, energy efficiency, and a healthier environment for families, all thoughtfully constructed with an emphasis on quality and performance.
